In terms of overall length (8.3 inches), as compared to its weight (3.75 oz.), this knife is fairly light. Also worth noting is the knife’s reversible pocket clip, which gives you the option to carry tip up/tip down based on your preferences.

Price: $32.65 (Amazon)

At a Glance:

The Kershaw Cryo was designed by world famous knife maker Rick Hinderer, so naturally it’s a very sleek and stylish piece. The blackwash finish gives this knife a classic worn look, adding even more style to an already snazzy knife. This knife features Kershaw’s speed safe spring-assisted technology for easy one-hand deployment. Another nifty feature of the Cryo is its four position deep-carry pocket clip, allowing each user to adjust the knife according to their preference. If you don’t a knife with a bit of heft, then this knife may very well climb to the top of your EDC list.

Specs:

Blade Length: 2.75″
Overall Length: 6.50″
Weight: 4.10 oz.
Blade Metal: 8Cr13MoV

Pros:

  • Four position deep carry pocket clip
  • Thumb Stud & Flipper
  • Speedsafe assisted opening
  • Great Blackwash finish option
  • Jimping on the handle and spine of the blade.

Cons:

  • On the heavier side when considering the size to weight ratio (4.1oz).

Final Thoughts:

This knife was very well thought out and is quite feature rich for such a small knife. The most standout features include: spring assisted opening, a four position pocket clip, and a flipper & thumb studs that enable rapid deployment. This knife is offered in several finishes, but our personal favorite is the Blackwash. Get yours HERE
